I first met Julien when we enrolled at art school.

Without any doubt he was the best looking boy in my class, but in spite of that he was a very quiet, modest and unassuming kind of guy.

Not only that but he worked real hard too.

Because he looked so good, everyone - both boys and girls - wanted to get to know him a lot better. As a result, he could have been out partying every night if he’d wanted to, but instead all he seemed to want to do was study.

Although we first-year students were following all sorts of disciplines - painting, sculpture, art history and so on - on our Foundation Course we all had to develop basic skills in drawing.

And that meant, in particular, life studies.

Of course, what art schools actually mean when they talk about “life studies” is nude work and a large part of our Foundation Course involved working with a naked model.

That’s tougher than it sounds.

You guys reading this probably think you’re pretty expert on the masculine physique, but you won’t have any idea just how challenging a subject the male body is to draw. And because hiring models for life study exercises is so expensive, almost all the students on my course used to double up.

To avoid embarrassment - an indication that we hadn’t yet become true professionals! - most of the guys paired off with other guys and the girls with girls.

Much to my surprise Julien sat next to me one day in the school cafeteria and suggested that he and I should pair off for the life study work.

I don’t think at that point that he had any idea that I found him so attractive. In reality I’d have done anything to get to know him better. But to Julien I guess I just seemed a quiet, hardworking guy who’d probably be available whenever he wanted to practice his drawing skills.

Julien and I tossed a coin and it was decided that I would start a concentrated programme of drawing him first. Once I had made some progress we’d swap and he would start a life study of me.

Julien arrived at my room at 9.00 pm one evening for our first session.

As we had been taught, I intended to spend the first few hours just making occasional rough sketches of anything that particularly caught my interest or which I might want to work on in more detail at some later point in time.

As Julien was my first ever live model, I was quite shy about asking him to take up particular poses, so after a while he started taking them up regardless.

I merely suggested that he hold them - if there was something I particularly liked - or else adopt another.

Of course, we both knew that Julien would soon be taking off all his clothes. But unknown - I hoped! - to him, I wanted to prolong the process as much as possible.

I wanted to be able to fantasise about the whole experience at length later. I guess you could say that I wanted to make it as sexy as I could.

So I told him I’d concentrate on his torso for a bit. He wouldn’t need to do anything more for the time being than strip to the waist.

Julien looked mystified. After all, if I just wanted to draw him from the waist up he could still be naked. But he seemed ready to humour me for the time being.

Artist though I was struggling to be, after a while human nature got the better of me.

Pretending to have exhausted the artistic possibilities of his torso, I asked him to strip completely.

I’d known in advance that I wasn’t going to be disappointed - and I wasn’t.

Julien had the most attractive and desirable body I’d yet come across. And, maybe because he was a budding artist himself, he knew how to position and hold it to best advantage.

My difficulty was not in finding a good angle from which to sketch him. Every single angle was a good one. My problem was simply in choosing the best.

When he was sitting on a chair I thought that I’d never seen anyone exuding such a degree of raw sexuality.

But then, when he crossed the room and sat on my bed, I changed my mind. That was even hotter.

To tell the truth, once he’d taken off his clothes this boy was just about as sexy as they come, whether standing up or sitting down, on a chair or on a bed.

People say that artists need to have a greater degree of sensitivity to their surroundings and atmosphere than other people.

I don’t know whether that’s true.

But if it is, it would explain why after a couple of hours posing Julien’s dick - which had hitherto behaved like a perfect gentleman - suddenly showed definite signs of life.

He smiled engagingly as he lay back on my bed and, simply ignoring me as if I weren’t there at all, took it in his hand.

With his eyes half closed I heard him speaking to me, though so quietly as to be almost inaudible.

“You are an artist… a painter.

“I too am an artist. But you will see now that I am one of a different sort.”

And, as he clutched his dick even harder and began to move it rhythmically back and forth, I distinctly heard his final words on the subject.

“I am a performance artist.”
