Tibor

I'm not sure exactly how many HMBoys members are bankers (or, as they're known to the rest of us since the current economic crisis started, wankers).

But, if there are any, they'll probably have been thinking "Tibor? What's that doing here?" - because TIBOR, as they well know, is an acronym for the Tokyo Interbank Offered Rate, the current interest rate at which Japanese banks lend to each other.

For the rest of us far less boring people, however, Tibor is an exceptionally charming young man, almost always with a smile on his face, who looks completely relaxed and happy to be sharing time with us at HMBoys.

In fact, when we told him about his Japanese namesake our own Tibor was quite put out, because it was the 2008 banking crisis that meant he'd lost his first job even before he'd had the chance to start it.

"I'd just left school and was due to start training as an engineer", he tells us.

"But the company got into a mess and told all the staff that they'd have to close down because the banks wouldn't lend them the money to keep going."

As it turned out, however, Tibor's been lucky. His good looks meant that he was quickly offered a job at the local gay bar and he's proved quite a hiit there with the customers. In fact one of them turned out to be a model agency talent scout and so Tibor's been doing the odd spot of work in front of the camera for the past year or so.

From there it was just a small step into the world of modelling for gay websites and he's already had more than a few bookings.

"I'm not dumb", he says.  "I know this sort of thing won't last.

"But it's fun to do and it helps me save up some money - just in case those bankers pull another one of their tricks any time soon."
