Istvan

Istvan, as his name suggests, is of Hungarian descent.

We hadn't actually intended to visit Hungary on the latest HMBoys scouting trip to Eastern Europe, but, with a few spare days to kill, we thought we'd check it out.

And, boy, we're glad we did!

We met Istvan on the cruising spot near the Elizabeth bridge along the banks of the river Danube (which, we can trell you, is most definitely not blue - at least in the winter!)

Most of the boys there were Romanians who spoke no English and, after wasting quite some time with them trying to get our message across by miming the action of taking pictures of them, we gave up (though we'll be back next time with a translator!)

But English is taught more widely in Hugarian schools, it seems, and it didn't take long at all for young Istvan to cotton on to what we were up to.

Fortunately, his room was close by the river and so, within just ten minutes or so, we were enjoying a hot cup of coffee there (December on the banks of the Danube is pretty cold, believe us!)

It turns out that Istvan had intended for some time to get into our line of work.  But, as you'll probably know, the Hungarian gay porn industyry tends to focus on quite beefy older guys, so, if we hadn't come along, he told us that he'd been thinking of travelling to Prague to look for twinky work.

So, all in all, this accommodating young man was very pleased to meet the HMBoys team.

We were able to give him some experience of the business, to give him the names of some useful contacts and to get the material we wanted from him at the same time.

And another big plus is that, when we come back to Budapest for those cute Romanian boys, Istvan's promised to line up a few of his own friends for our inspection too.

We just can't wait!
