If you've visited Prague - still the best place in Eastern Europe if you're looking to hook up with cute young guys - you'll know that one of the city's best known gay bars has a hotel on the floors above it.

A year or so ago, the owner was having major work carried out on the building and he'd hired - I guess it was deliberately - a workforce full of the cutest young guys you can imagine. 

Of course, all of them quickly got used to the way that the hotel guests would check them out and so they understood exactly what sort of place they were working in.

Not that there was any sign at all that they were bothered by that!

For all I know, they might have been pretty useless when it came to hammering in nails or getting to work with a paintbrush.

But more than a few of them, I can personally confirm, were more than up to the job when it came to screwing or drilling holes.

That's how I got to know Havel, one of the carpenters on the workforce.  He was a real sweetie with an adorable smile but unfortunately he's now moved on to a new building site and I've lost touch. 

But I remember him well to this day - if only because I still keep finding the odd splinter or two in the most uncomfortable places!
