Cooper

Most boys we feature on our website choose - for completely understandable reasons - not to use their real name.

But this HMBoy - a cute 18 years old redhead - was adamant. He wanted us to use the name he was born with...

But it's his surname. 

It seems that Cooper's fallen out big time with his dad.

It's the old story...  Dad couldn't cope with the idea of having a gay son and, in the end, threw him out of the house.

So our boy's decided that the way to get back at dad is to embarrass him even more by metaphorically shouting the family name from the HMBoys rooftops.

Given that background, you might think it's surprising that Cooper looks so darned happy in our pictures.

But, he tells us, as it turned out being kicked out of the house was just about the best thing that could have happened to him.

Within a day he'd found somewhere to live.

Within a week he'd got himself a job.

And within a month he'd found himself a boyfriend.

"I'm happier now that I've ever been", he tells us, "so I guess that when my dad kicked me out he was doing me a good turn after all - even if he didn't know it."

And so Cooper's now decided to do his dad a good turn as well.

He'll soon be moving into a new apartment with that newly acquired boyfriend and then,if everything goes well, they plan to tie the knot.

"And when that happens", he explains, "I'll be taking my boyfriend's name and stop using "Cooper" - so that should please dad.

Except, of course, for that fact that here on the HMBoys site, at least, "Cooper" will remain "Cooper" for ever!
