Petre

 Look up the name Stephen Tennant online and you’ll find that he was one of the so-called bright young things of the early twentieth century with something of a taste for rough young men.  The most famous thing about him, however, is that he is said to have been so idle that he spent 17 continuous years resting in bed – where he was joined, no doubt, in his less restful moments by the odd ruffian or two.

Which brings us to the newest HMBoy, Petre.  You’ll see at once, of course, that he’s far from being a ruffian.  Quite the contrary, he’s a sweet little cutie.  But he does share Stephen Tennant’s addiction to bed – and, if he hasn’t yet spent 17 years under the sheets (which would, after all, be almost his whole life so far!), he’d be more than happy to give it a go.

Luckily, the nature of our HMBoys work means that we were more than happy to accommodate Petre’s proposal that he be photographed at home in his favourite location and in his very favourite position.  

And, regardless of sleepyhead Petre, we’re pretty certain that his pictures will be keeping lots of you wide awake – if not for 17 years then at least for a stimulating hour or two.
